Do you charge more for after-hours emergency callouts?
After-hours work is priced differently to a standard weekday service call, and we will tell you what it is on the phone before we come out rather than presenting it afterwards. The standard daytime service call is $170 plus parts, and if your problem can safely wait until normal hours we will say so.
Can you secure my garage tonight even if you cannot fix it properly until parts arrive?
Yes, and that is often exactly what happens on an after-hours call. The priority is getting the opening secure and the property safe. If the correct part is not available at 11pm we secure it, explain what is needed, and come back to complete the permanent repair in normal hours.
My garage door was damaged in a break-in attempt. What should I do?
Report it to police first and get an event number, then photograph the damage before anything is moved, because insurers will want both. Then ring us. We can usually secure the opening the same day and provide an itemised quote in the form your insurer needs.
